2026 Girls Tryouts

 Mass Velocity Summer Hockey is designed for motivated players looking to compete, develop, and stay sharp during the offseason. Our summer teams focus on high-tempo play, skill development, and strong team concepts while competing in quality tournaments. Tryouts give athletes the opportunity to showcase their work ethic, coachability, and commitment to improving their game.

Each roster will have between 12-16 skaters and 1-2 goalies

No! All players will be evaluated independent of their in-season teams. 

Yes! All players must pre-register for tryouts. Numbers will be capped per position and birth year, so it is important that you do not wait until the last minute!

Tryouts will be a full ice scrimmage with a 3 minute warm up. Teams will play two, 27 minute running time halves. Shifts will be timed using a buzzer system and goalies will be given equal playing time per team. 

Our focus is to fill our teams with quality players from the New England area. However, you DO NOT have to be from Massachusetts or any of the New England states to be eligible for the team.
